I decided to take up bowls as a sport as my Gran and Granddad play bowls. Well I was more begged to do it then anything else as I thought it was a sport for elderly people but then i found a team in Pietermaritzburg, KZN that I could play in. It was a bit boring when I just started as i still thought it was for elderly people but then I started to really understand the game and become good at it. I’ve played for the Midlands team and traveled to Bloemfontein to place a week game. I’ve also played in Pietermaritzburg against other provinces.
